Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 2 adds a new artifact and a covenant to Zombies. Additionally, players will now be able to use two different Wonder Weapons in the game: one classic and one brand new to the franchise. Here’s a guide with all the details.
New Wonder Weapons in Vanguard Zombies Season 2
The Call of Duty Zombies experience is incomplete without the unique and powerful Wonder Weapons. While the fan-favorite Ray Gun is making a comeback, the Decimator Shield is the newest addition to the franchise.
These special weapons can be found in the Mystery Box or as a lucky loot item during a match. Furthermore, players can kit their loadout with the four new weapons arriving with this seasonal update.
Wand of the Wilds: New Artifact in Vanguard Zombies Season 2
The new friendly Dark Aether entity, Vercanna the Last, provides a brand-new artifact option to the special forces operators. Her Wand of the Wilds artifact emits the Life Energy power as Healing Aura. This artifact can be upgraded up to five levels:
- Tier I (Base): Instantly heal yourself and teammates to full health.Tier II: Knock down normal zombies and stun special zombies near each player.Tier III: Revive all downed teammates.Tier IV: Revived teammates retain their Perks.Tier V: Continuously heal and revive players for 10 seconds.
Artifact Ward: New Covenant Vanguard Zombies Season 2
The new addition to the Altar of Covenants is the Artifact Ward, which can be purchased using Sacrificial Hearts. This Zombies Covenant may occasionally trigger your Artifact for free when an enemy attacks from behind. This powerup is available and upgradable in the following three rarities:
- Rare: A chance to trigger your Artifact when hit on the back.Epic: Higher chance to trigger your Artifact when hit on the back.Legendary: Higher chance to trigger your Artifact when hit anywhere.
