Red Dead Online’s fourth Outlaw Pass was released with the new Elite Bounty Hunter update. Unlike the third Outlaw Pass seen in June, this is a full Outlaw Pass with 100 levels of rewards. By default, all players have the base version of the Outlaw Pass. As you go, you will earn some rewards without upgrading to the full pass. Those rewards are minimal and usually include free or discounted items or ammunition.

Upgrading to the full Outlaw Pass will cost 40 gold bars and be done through the catalog or any store. You will earn rewards with every level, some of which will still need to be purchased at stores even though you have unlocked them already. There are 100 levels in this Outlaw Pass, with tons of cosmetic rewards. We’ve broken them up according to Rockstar’s pages.

Is the Outlaw Pass worth it?

If you like cosmetic items for your horse or yourself, yes, it is well worth the money. With the dozens of cosmetic unlocks, which would cost premium money in most games anyway, it is worth your time and effort to buy it. If you do not care about cosmetic items, photo filters, or backgrounds, don’t bother with it. Additionally, if you’re struggling to make gold with Rockstar’s latest update, then it would be better to buy the Bounty Hunter roles and earn gold that way first.

Most of the gold you spend on the Outlaw Pass is reimbursed throughout the pass, and 10 gold bars will be rewarded to you after you purchase, if done before December 7. You have the potential to earn all 40 gold bars back as you progress through the pass.
