Each character in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has stats that outline their combat qualities and give you a good idea of the classes you want to give them. Every stat works differently, and knowing what these mean and how they work will give you the best chance to give your characters the best classes for every battle. In this guide, we’re going to break down all stats and how they work in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

Full stat descriptions in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

You can see all of your character’s stats by visiting the Convoy, which you can access before a battle, or by going to the Main Menu while in the War Camp. Here, your entire roster will appear, and on the right side, you can see your character’s health, stats, the weapon they’re using, and their abilities.

There are eight stats displayed for each character: Strength, Magic, Dexterity, Speed, Luck, Defense, Resistance, and Charisma. Here’s what each of those stats means in Three Hopes.

  • Strength: Increases a character’s physical attack output, making them more powerful with melee-focused classes and Archers.Magic: Increase your character’s magical attack output, making them more worthwhile Mages, Warlocks, or Healers.Dexterity: Increase your character’s chance to hit a target with a ranged weapon, and gives them a more critical hit chance.Speed: Increases your character’s chance to dodge attacks.Luck: Decreases the chance for an enemy critical hit to land against them.Defense: Reduces your character’s overall damage from physical attacks by melee opponents or Archers.Resistance: Reduces your character’s overall damage from magical attacks, making them suitable opponents for any flinging magic at you in a battle.Charm: This determines how quickly a battalion’s endurance is used up during the course of a battle.

You want to keep these stats in mind whenever you’re swapping out classes for your characters, or you want to switch things up. While it is important to switch classes to teach your characters more abilities, a character’s stats will change based on the class, and it won’t always be for the better.
