The lifeblood of Kart racers, whether it be Mario Kart, Sonic racing or Crash Team Racing, is the large cast of colorful characters that make quips and bring some personality to the games where other arcade racers don’t. Nitro Fueled brings back both the casts of the original CTR as well as the characters that its sequel Crash Nitro Kart.
But how do you unlock this huge cast of characters?
Firstly, the cast of Crash Nitro Kart cannot be added by completing any mode in the game, including adventure mode. To unlock all of the cast for Nitro Kart, you must gather Wumpa coins from playing the game and keep your eyes on the games store, found by going to the main menu and heading to the Pit Stop. It will refresh the items regularly, and if you pick the right times, you should be able to grab each character. They are relatively inexpensive, so timing is the only concern.
