Destiny 2: The Witch Queen brings with it the reworked Void subclass that now functions in the same way that Stasis does, by utilizing Aspects and Fragments. Hunters specialize in sneaking in close, doing lots of damage, then getting back out. The Void 3.0 Aspects only build upon these foundations to create a quick and efficient assassin.

Hunter Void 3.0 Aspects

We were first introduced to the Aspect and Fragment system with the Statis subclass in the Beyond Light expansion. Aspects are a powerful mechanic that can change the way the subclass is played, while Fragments provide minor tweaks. This system allows for flexibility in play like never before and leads to unique and powerful builds. Here are all of the Void 3.0 Aspects for Hunter.

  • Trapper’s Ambush: Player can activate Quickfall to spend their melee charge and dive to the ground, creating a smoke cloud upon impact. Enemies caught in the cloud are weakened and allies become invisible. In addition, Snare Bombs, upon attaching to surfaces or enemies, cause nearby allies to become invisible. Vanishing Step: Dodging makes the Hunter invisible.Stylish Executioner: Defeating a Void-debuffed target (weakened, suppressed, or volatile) grants invisibility and Truesight. While invisible and after a Stylish Execution, your next melee attack weakens enemies.

With these three Aspects, Void 3.0 caters to all playstyles while still adding flexibility within each one. Trappers Ambush is for those who enjoy getting up close and personal with their enemies but still want to provide some utility to the Fireteam. Vanishing Step if for those players who like a way out of any sticky situation. Lastly, Stylish Executioner is for Guardians who like to coordinate with their Fireteam in order to shred enemies.

Each of these Aspects can be tweaked slightly using various Fragments to best fit each individual player. Void 3.0 Aspects give us a single subclass that has something different to offer to each and every Hunter.
