The release date for the Batman vs Superman Blu-ray in Italy is expected to be July 15th, 2016. This is a feasible date as Blu-ray/DVDs usually come out within 3 or 4 months after a movie is released in the cinema. It’s possible the North American date will be different though.
This 4K Blu-ray is being called the “Ultimate Edition”. It comes with a 4K Ultra HD disc, a normal Blu-ray disc plus a digital HD copy. It also includes both the Theatrical and Extended cuts of the film. The extended cut will run for close to 3 hours and has 30 minutes of additional scenes.
A feature that is included on the cover says this 4K version of the film has “High Dynamic Range” or HDR for short. This means the film has “brighter, deeper, more lifelike colors” as stated on the box-art. If you have a 4K television, buying this version of the movie is your best choice.
