The upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield game is the eighth generation of Pokémon games, and the first Pokémon game to release on a home console that isn’t a remake. Sword and Shield follow the adventures of Pokémon trainers in a new region called Galar, which receives inspiration from the United Kingdom in the real world.
Though many fans have expressed disappointment towards the games, especially how it looks and the lack of a National Dex, the games are still highly anticipated.
