Could this mean that Blizzard’s multiplayer game is on the way to Nintendo’s system?

Normally this wouldn’t be such a big deal. Nintendo has made tons of these third-party style cases before. The reason it is, however, is because Overwatch has not been released for the Nintendo Switch, and such a listing is going to point to the only logical conclusion; Overwatch is coming to Nintendo’s console. As of this writing, neither Nintendo nor Blizzard Entertainment has made any official statement, but with BlizzCon 2019 just around the corner, it’s only a matter of time before one of them has to say something.

Easily the most popular title in Blizzards repertoire right now, Overwatch has stampeded its way into the video game market, and has since become one of the most critically acclaimed games in history. Overwatch was also the company’s return to the home console market, and while the PC version is arguably better, it was a wise decision as it opened the flood gates for more players to jump on the Blizzard bandwagon.

It’s hard not to imagine both companies working together again to bring another title to the system. Diablo III was ported to the Switch last year and that was deemed a success, so it wouldn’t surprise us to hear about Overwatch coming to the Switch very soon. As we said earlier, the page has been removed, but keep an eye on that link for the foreseeable future.
