Broadway star Andrew Barth Feldman is slated to make his film debut in Sony Pictures’ upcoming romance film No Hard Feelings. Feldman joins Jennifer Lawrence in the new Gene Stupnitsky film, which is set to be released next year.
Andrew Barth Feldman made his theatrical debut at a young age when he was cast as Frank Abagnale Jr. in a high school production of Terrence McNally’s Catch Me If You Can, a musical following the life of real-life con-artist Frank Abagnale. Two years after his stage debut, Feldman would step onto a Broadway stage as Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, a role that would launch him into the limelight and give Feldman a guest appearance as himself in 2020’s Ben Platt Live from Radio City Music Hall.
After closing his role in Dear Evan Hansen, Andrew Barth Feldman would move into a double role as Han Solo/Darth Vader in SW: A New(sical) Hope at 54 Below in New York City. According to BroadwayWorld, Andrew Barth Feldman’s most recent role was as Alfredo Linguini in Ratatouille: the Musical, a benefit concert that originated on TikTok. In addition to his theatrical roles, Feldman has some experience in television, including a brief role in Stars in the House (2020) and a guest role as Antoine in season 2 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney+.

With No Hard Feelings still in development with Sony, the exact details of the film’s plot are being kept under wraps for the moment, but Deadline describes it as “an R-rated film with a heart.” Jennifer Lawrence, fresh out of her role as Afghan war veteran Lynsey in Causeway (2022), has been confirmed to be starring in the new romance, and will likely be starring in the lead role.
No Hard Feelings was written by Gene Stupnitsky (Good Boys) and John Phillips (Dirty Grandpa). Stupnitsky doubles as the film’s director while Phillips executive produces and Lawrence, Alex Saks, Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, and Justine Polsky serve as producers.
