Looking visibly distressed, Andy tried to explain that he only hoped she was innocent. However, Chris quickly fired back that Jen confessed to her crimes.
Nevertheless, Chris burst his bubbles. The 75-year-old told his guest he was wrong because Jen “changed her plea in July 2022.”
A completely embarrassed Andy couldn’t defend himself anymore. “Oh, God. Um, anyway! Wow, this is fun,” he said afterward.
“And I’m like, ‘It’s up to the judge. She’s about to get sentenced to a lot of jail time,’” he told the Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? host, who reminded him that the RHOSLC star “did something bad.”
Andy quickly agreed, adding that she deserved to go to jail. He added that he fell into the temptation of hoping that Jen was innocent because he knows and likes her.
Andy Cohen Hoped Jen Shah Would Not Go To Jail
The TV personality answered that her sentencing would be on December 15. He added he was stuck not knowing what to say to those asking her to return to RHOSLC.
Jen Shah did not attend the Season 3 reunion, which was filmed last month. She was also absent from BravoCon, which took place in October 2022.
Jen was sentenced to six-and-a-half years in federal prison on January 6. She is scheduled to begin her sentence on February 17.
