How to Get Maple Leaves in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Maple leaves are the Autumn or fall seasonal crafting materials you can collect to make furniture. Depending on where you live, the time that maple leaves will spawn will change. If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, maple leaves will spawn from November 16 until November 25 every year. If you live in the Southern Hemisphere, they will generate from May 16 to May 25. Isabelle will also announce the appearance of maple leaves. Maple leaves in fall are similar to cherry blossom petals in the spring, shells in the summer, and snowflakes in the winter.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will notice maple leaves falling off trees and flying in the air as you explore your island. Most of them will disappear, but occasionally, you will find ones that hover in the air. You can catch these leaves with a net, much like catching an insect. It is entirely random where and when the leaves will spawn, so it’s best to run around your island and keep an eye out for floating maple leaves if you want to craft all the maple leaf furniture.
You can use maple leaves to craft different seasonal furniture items. You can collect the DIY recipes for this furniture set by using a slingshot to shoot down floating balloons on your island. The balloons will randomly spawn with a present attached. There is a random chance that the present will contain a DIY recipe for a maple leaf item.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available on the Nintendo Switch.
