In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there are over 70 Fossils that you can collect and donate to the Museum, but how do you get them? It can take quite a while to find and collect them all. To collect them, you’ll have to look for an “X” marked on the ground scattered across your island, where the Fossils will be buried. Take to each “X” on the ground with your shovel tool to reveal each Fossil! Keep reading to learn how to get all Fossils in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Get All Fossils
When you’re searching for Fossils in the little star shaped “X” marks on the ground, you will likely find Fossils, but that’s not all! You also have a chance to find pitfalls and treasures as well.
Every day at 5 AM in your game, 4 new Fossils will be buried on your island, making it possible for you to find 4 Fossils in each game day. Every time you find a Fossil, you’ll need to take it to get assessed. To do this, you’ll need to head to the Museum and talk to Bathers.
