While the 1.11.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons didn’t make any significant changes to the game, it did introduce everyone’s favorite sweet oriental beverage, Boba Tea. It makes for a lovely drink during the summer fireworks event as you gaze up at the illuminated night sky. Unfortunately, the Boba Tea will not be around for long. This unique beverage’s availability is time-locked to the duration of the annual Fireworks Festival in August. Thankfully, this guide will teach you how to get Boba Tea in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so you’ll be able to stock up for days to come.
How to Get Boba Tea in New Horizons
To get Boba Tea in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll need to attend the Fireworks Festival, which takes place each Sunday in August from 7 PM until midnight. Head over to Redd’s Raffle, where you can win one of 24 random prizes for 500 Bells a raffle ticket. Five of the prizes are different flavors of Boba Tea.
Here is a list of the 24 prizes you can win at Redd’s Raffle, including the Boba Tea:
- Red Sparkler

As mentioned above, these items, including the Boba Tea, will only be available during this month’s Fireworks Festival. So be sure to clear your schedule for Sundays at 7 PM to 12 AM and have plenty of Bells on hand for purchasing Redd’s tickets. Keep in mind, you can only access the Fireworks Festival of 2021, which means “time-traveling” on your Switch’s clock won’t help you get more Boba Tea.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
