With the brand new update that just came to Animal Crossing: New Horizon, there have been several new additions and changes. One of the most important and game-changing ones is the inclusion of the Storage Shed. The item does exactly what the name implies: it is a shed that can hold your items. This means that you don’t need to worry about going back to your house to store any surplus items or simply clear your inventory. That is why it is so important to know how to get the shed. This guide will show you how to get the Storage Shed in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

How to Get Storage Shed in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

There are two ways to get the Storage Shed in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but both of them require you to fully upgrade your house and then upgrade your Storage to a total compacity of 2,400. This will cost you a hefty 500,000 Bells. Once you do this, you will receive a letter in the mail the next day saying that you can now redeem the Storage Shed. You can go to the Resident Services Building and can buy the Storage for a total of 6,000 Nook Miles. The Shed will be shipped to your house the next day.

You can also purchase the recipe to build yourself the shed, also for a total of 6,000 Nook Miles. If you decide to buy the recipe, you will need 30 Wood, 30 Softwood, 30 Hardwood, and 10 Iron Nuggets to craft a Storage Shed. Whichever way you decide to go about it, following these steps will get you the brand new Storage Shed in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
