Two decades later, Animaniacs is returning, and to help usher them back to television, Hulu had a little help from Jurassic Park. The short spot premiered at New York Comic Con Online with a spoof of the Michael Crichton novel turned movie and Warner brothers and sister.

It was a near shot for shot remake of the 1993 dinosaur film, released the same year as the original Animaniacs show. The short begins with Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm getting their first look at the resurrected dinosaurs in the classic Jeep, except they’re animated. Playing the role of John Hammond is instead Steven Spielberg, who was an executive producer for Animaniacs and directed Jurassic Park.

It’s all done in the classic animation Animaniacs featured when it was released in the 90s. There’s a bit of fun dialogue explaining the animation style used to recreate Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.

The show will also feature all of the original voice cast reprising their roles. Jess Harnell (Wakko), Maurice LaMarche (Brain), Tress MacNeille (Dot), and Rob Paulsen (Pinky and Yakko).

The cast and crew also held an online panel during New York Comic Con detailing the reboot’s return.
