The Anime Expo Lite 2021 will host a live panel event featuring the NIJISANJI Vtubers Elira Pendora, Pomura Rainpuff, and Finana Ryugu. Each one of these animated Youtubers has its own backstories. Viewers will be able to visit whichever girl they want or watch all three of them at the same time.
What to Expect From This Vtuber Panel
The NIJISANJI project first started in 2018 and is run mainly by ANYCOLOR, Inc. As of now, it is one of the largest Virtual YouTuber projects in Japan. An English version of NIJISANJI also launched in June, with auditions for the group held back in December.
Elira Pendora is “a sky dragon who comes from the heavens closest to the sun. She has a kindness and receptiveness that makes the light on a sunny day fall equally on all.” Finana Ryugu is “a mermaid that spends her time with the tropical fish in the sea of coral reefs. She has a heart clear and pure as the calm and beautiful sea.”And Pomu Rainpuff is a “fairy who lives in the lush forest. Supple like a flower in the breeze, cheerful and optimistic”.
Earlier today, Anime Expo Lite 2021 also announced that they will be hosting another Vtuber pair with Hololive (one of the world’s biggest Vtuber talent agencies). It will be featuring some of their most popular talents such as Mori Calliope, Takanashi Kiara, and Watson Amelia. With a combination of over 40 million fans between the visiting talents, those numbers are expected to double with this event.
Anime Expo Lite will be on July 3 and 4 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m EDT each day. It marks the 30th anniversary of the biggest North American Anime convention. Tickets are available for purchase and will cost $5 USD, with all of the earnings going towards the Hate is a Virus Action Fund.
