So Anne Heche has tested positive for cocaine in the wake of her car accident that left her comatose. This at least sheds some light on her behavior. For those who don’t know, Anne Heche caused some pretty major property damage from her car accident this week when she drove into a house. The car then burst into flames, trapping Heche inside. Thankfully, no one in the house was hurt at the time. Heche, on the other hand, suffered third-degree burns and is now in a coma.
It’s a tragic story that begins to look less like it will have a happy ending every second. And while the cocaine intoxication does explain some of her behavior, this isn’t the first time the star went a little crazy, sadly. She also had a breakdown in the late 90s that got pretty hectic. And the worst thing, it wasn’t just cocaine found in her system.

“LAPD sources tell TMZ … the department has tested the blood they drew after Anne was admitted to the hospital, and in addition to cocaine, they also found fentanyl. However, our sources say fentanyl is sometimes used as a pain med in hospitals, so they need to do more testing and investigation to determine if the fentanyl was in her system at the time of the crash. We are also told Anne’s condition is dire … it has not improved since she was admitted to the hospital. As we reported, Anne has been fighting for her life and is in critical condition.”
It’s a tragic story that only seems to get more tragic the more we learn. But our hearts go out to her. We hope Anne Heche recovered from this and has the strength and support to get the help she may need.
