Sadly, Anne Heche‘s memoir release did not precede her untimely death. But fans have received its excerpts with open arms while standing firm in their support. This has led her eldest son, Homer Laffoon, to speak about the book while thanking the supporters.
Away from the camera, the How to Get Away With Murder actress had an intriguing life that consisted of regrets, scars, and a blissful future. Though the actress, who suffered sexual abuse as a child, was a mother to two kids, Homer Laffoon and Atlas Tupper — she shared them with two exes, Coley Laffoon and James Tupper, respectively, later in her life, Heche fell in love with a woman.
Amid her acting talent, the actress enjoyed sharing her story through her publications. After her 2001 Call Me Crazy book, she began scripting a second one, titled Call Me Anne. Sadly, Anne Heche’s Memoir Release 2.0 was completed after her death. Last August, the 53-year-old was plugged off life support about forty-eight hours after being declared legally dead.

Anne Heche’s Son Thanks Fans Ahead of His Mom’s Memoir Release
A few weeks after her death, Anne Heche’s memoir release was facilitated by Associated Press, which published an extract. On Thursday, her son, Homer, now in charge of the deceased’s estate and Instagram page, notified fans about the memoir’s release date (January 24), alongside the book’s cover photo.
While speaking about the book that meant so much to his mother, Homer shared words of gratitude to his mom’s supporters, noting that he was overwhelmed by them. He said:
The HBO star’s son claimed that he was on the path to healing, even though it would be a “long one,” before mentioning that he cherishes their good wishes, which has acted as a form of comfort so far. Before signing off, Homer acknowledged his mom and how she would love for people to tap into her life’s work. A special event has been scheduled for January 24 at Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles to mark Anne Heche’s memoir release.
