Anthem is one of the biggest releases of 2019. It is an online multiplayer action RPG currently in development at Bioware (the studio that gave us hits like Dragon Age and Mass Effect series). The hype surrounding the game is pretty massive, and the lead producer Michael Gamble is making sure that it does not die down by answering fan queries related to the game on Twitter. In one of the recent conversations, Michael Gamble revealed the Resolution and FPS at which the game is going to run on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

According to the details revealed by Michael Gamble, Anthem will not run at 1080p/60FPS, and the reason behind it is that the development team has currently priortized visual. He added that the team might be prioritizing frame rate in future (but nothing is guaranteed).

When asked for a bit more clarification via query: “So does this mean PS4 Pro get 4K/ Better visuals? I am fine with 30 fps as long as it looks awesome” Gamble replied: “YES.”

No, we’ve prioritized visuals. We can look at prioritizing frame rate maybe as future thing https://t.co/WcLqgeAFb9

I’m not sure of a game that is able to do that. anthem won’t run 4K at 60.

Also, “To be clear — Anthem will run at 4K/30 correct? For XB1X/PS4Pro” Gamble replied: Yup.

In addition to this, Gamble confirmed that apart from 4K Resolution, HDR will also be enabled on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Lastly, there was also a question on whether Anthem will support Cross-Save or Cross-Platform Play? to this Gamble replied: “Looking into it!”

Anthem is scheduled to launch worldwide on February 22. A VIP Demo (Alpha) will take place on January 25.

Looking into it!
