In the latest update for the Spellbound Collection Event in Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment has included new challenges called Welcome Challenges. These challenges are intended to assist new players in understanding the game’s mechanics and provide a way for existing players to refresh their skills on the basics. To earn the Apex 101 badge, players must complete all 10 Welcome Challenges.
Get Apex 101 Badge with Apex Legends Welcome Challenges
The Apex Legends Welcome Challenges are available to all players, regardless of experience level. These challenges will be easy for veteran players, but new players and badge collectors may find them enjoyable.
To access the Welcome Challenges in Apex Legends, log in to the game as usual and navigate to the “Challenges” tab in the lobby under the “Seasonal” tab. This will bring you to the challenge hub, where you can find a list of daily and seasonal battle passes, limited-time events, and Welcome Challenges. On the right side of the screen, you will see a button labeled “Welcome to Apex,” select it to be taken to the Welcome Challenge page, where you can track your progress on each challenge.
Welcome to Apex challenges are as follows:
- Restore 200 health
- Slide three times
- Deal damage with ordnance
- Swap your armor for one of higher tier
- Survive to the top 5 squads
- Break down 3 doors with melee attacks
- Use a phoenix kit
- Take an item from a Care Package (does not include Lifeline Care Packages)
- Get a kill from over 100m
- Win as the champion squad
Apex Legends players will receive XP that counts towards their battle pass and individual user level for each Welcome Challenge they complete. Additionally, players who successfully finish all 10 challenges will earn the Apex 101 badge, a cosmetic item that can be added to their characters’ banners. Once you’ve completed all of the Welcome Challenges, you will be awarded the Apex 101 badge at the end of the match in which you complete the final challenge.
