Apex Legends is getting a new time-limited mode called Gun Run, and it’s something special, let me tell you. Up until now, Apex Legend‘s time-limited game modes have been really fun and definitely keep players coming back. So, we all have really high hopes for this one! Whether you’ve been playing Apex Legends since it came out or you’re new to the high-paced battle Royale game, Gun Run will be fun for everybody. Keep reading below to learn how to play Gun Run in Apex Legends.

How to Play Gun Run in Apex Legends

To begin with, Gun Run is only a time-limited mode, so it won’t be around permanently. In fact, it will only really last until the Apex Legends Beast of Prey event is finished. So Gun Run will only be available for a couple of weeks.

Gun Run in Apex Legends is similar to how a lot of other Gun Games work in other first-person shooter games. The whole idea is that you must get kills with each weapon as they cycle. So you don’t get to choose your own weapons; even if you’re not the greatest with them, you still need to get kills!

However, you only need to get one kill with each weapon. So, as you begin, you will start with one weapon. As soon as you get a kill with that weapon, it will cycle out to the next weapon. If you are the first person to make it through all 25 weapons and get 25 kills, you’ll be the Apex Legends Gun Run winner.

Gun Run Specifics

When you jump into Gun Run in Apex Legends, you will be dropped into a three-man squad. Then, you will face up against three other squads of the same size. You will be able to view the two starting guns that you have before you drop into the match. There is a pretty cool feature to this, though. If you are the squad player with the leading kills, you will simply progress to the next gun with every kill. If you are behind at all, your next kill will always progress you to the gun that the squad leader is at to even things out a bit.

You get automatic respawns, infinite ammo, and the healing items are plentiful. The areas you will play on will be either Skulltown or Fragment East from World’s Edge.
