Apex Legends is the new free-to-play battle royale game being released by Respawn Entertainment, who is the team behind the popular Titanfall. There had been hints about it before, but on February 3rd, 2019 a bunch of influencers got to share that they had been flown out to attend some kind of behind the scenes event. Today, we’re going to get a chance to see what’s going on with the game with an official stream of the game.

While the actual stream hasn’t started, they have been featuring various looks at the map. Every now and then they are transitioning to small bits of video showing off some of the characters and their abilities. The actual stream itself starts at 12pm PST.

You can download APEX Legends right now from EA Origins!

There’s been a couple of leaks, including a look at the map and characters that will be in the game.

The map is pretty interesting and includes a few different biomes and what looks to be quite a few mountainous areas. We’ll be taking a deeper look at the map in our guide.

The characters look to have different classes including a tracker, tank, medic/support, and general soldier. There will be more information about the characters in our deeper look at Apex Legends classes.

Here’s a look at some of the environments and videos featuring hints at what’s to come.

We’ve got a couple of the teaser videos from the stream on our Twitter. The first one features a look at resurrecting a teammate with potentially the ability to put up a shield for protection. It is likely specific to that particular class.

Here’s a look at potential environmental dangers, or a skill from one of the classes. Caustic looks like the class that will have the potential for being poison based.
