Ubisoft is currently dealing with some serious server issues, as all game servers and the Ubisoft Connect service are down. Ubisoft support staff confirmed the outage on the official Ubisoft forums.
A tweet was also sent from the official Ubisoft Twitter account saying that the company was aware of the issue, and was looking into the cause.
Players who attempted to log into their accounts, or connect to Ubisoft games, are being hit with a range of error messages, with “a Ubisoft service is currently unavailable” being particularly prominent.
At the moment, it is not known exactly what the cause of this issue is. The most likely cause is with the login servers themselves, rather than with the wider network that Ubisoft uses to support its games and services. Problems like this are usually dealt with pretty quickly, mainly due to the large scale impact they can have on customer satisfaction and potential earnings.
