Announced last year by Microids, Arkanoid – Eternal Battle reappeared in the game world. In the showcase organized by Guerrilla Collective, official gameplay has been shared, showing the new version of the popular 80’s brick-breaking game. Publisher Microids and Taito has announced the arcade game, Arkanoid – Eternal Battle, coming to the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch.

Arkanoid – Eternal Battle Will Arrive In October

Developed by Pastagames and released by Microids and Taito, Arkanoid – Eternal Battle allows us to reinvent classic construction through a modernized version of the game. Arkanoid, one of the first arcade games released in the 80s, wanted us to control a ship to destroy many blocks that came across.

This new version brings all the conveniences of our time and will offer four game modes: Retro, Neo, Versus, and Eternal Battle. These mods allow to find the gameplay of the time or more modern, but also to fight with other players locally, from 2 to 4 people on a split-screen. Regardless of the platform, there will also be cross-play support online, and you will be able to compete with others in the rankings.

Also, the release date and platforms for Arkanoid – Eternal Battle have been announced at Guerrilla Collective. The game will be released in October 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch.
