(Major spoilers ahead for the Arrowverse Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover)
Crisis on Infinite Earths has officially concluded. The Arrowverse as a whole went through some drastic changes that’ll affect each CW series in different ways throughout the rest of their respective seasons. While there is a lot to unpack when it comes to the new status quo of the Arrowverse, everyone seems to be talking about all the cameos from the crossover event. Most notably, the truly mind-blowing cameo of Ezra Miller’s DCEU version of Barry Allen meeting up with Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen for a trippy scene.
Arrowverse producer Marc Guggenheim recently sat down with Variety to talk about this shocking cameo that sent the internet into a frenzy late Tuesday night:
That wasn’t all Guggenheim spilled to Variety. The producer also talked about Oliver’s second sacrifice, how the shows will be affected by the new multiverse, and the ending of the crossover that hinted at the Wonder Twins. When asked whether the Wonder Twins and their pet Gleek would make an appearance in Legends of Tomorrow or the next crossover, Guggenheim said:
“TBD. That was something where we knew we wanted to end with that fun bit. There were early versions of the draft that had the Wonder Twins actually in it. I consider the Wonder Twins kind of a jump ball: We’ll see what show wants to grab it.”
