DWTS’s Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella’s wedding has left the latter with a good feeling and he testifies. The Dancing With The Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev has expressed his feelings about marriage.
Artem Chigvintsev related to Us Weekly in an exclusive interview two weeks after the celebratory news of their wedding was announced. He explained how his relationship with his wife, Nikki Bella, has changed since they walked down the aisle last month.
The 40-year-old dance expert explained that he thought things in their relationship were not going to change much even with marriage. The couple has been together for years now, and Chigvintsev didn’t expect much to change. Artem Chigvintsev has come to realize that marriage “does change everything.”
DTWS’ Artem Chigvintsev continued by explaining how the wedding ring on his finger “symbolizes a major commitment” to his wife, Nikki Bella, the 38-year-old Total Bellas alum. He expressed the fact that now that he is married he thinks “through a lot more than I used to…”
The ballroom dancer is happy with the new development, as he explained that he and his wife, Bella, have been anticipating the day they got married. He said that “It’s been a long time coming and … I’m excited…”
When Did Artem Chigvintsev And Nikki Bella Get Married?
Chigvintsev and Bella announced the news of their wedding in late August of this year. The couple tied the knot in Paris, with family and friends in attendance. Bella also announced that the wedding journey, Nikki Bella Says I Do will be premiered on @eentertainment.
The twin sisters revealed more about the wedding after over a week of it, in an episode of their podcast, The Bellas Podcast. The Strictly Come Dancing star expressed how surreal it feels to call Chigvintsev her husband. She also explained that her husband also blushes whenever she calls him “husband”.
What Were The Challenges In Their Relationship?
The couple officially met when they appeared on DWTS season 25 in 2017. On DWTS Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki were dance partners. They started dating in 2019 and announced their engagement in 2020. The pair welcomed their first child together, Son, Matteo in May 2020.
Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella have faced some challenges in their relationship. They had to scale through a long-distance relationship at some point, due to Artem’s stint on DTWS season 30.
Although it was not an easy phase, as the couple was away from each other for a while, Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella’s relationship scaled through and they are now happily married.
