Actress Ashley Johnson was interviewed on New York Live to talk about her extremely successful FBI drama Blindspot. But the actor was also asked about her other well-known role as a player in Critical Role. When asked how this all began, Johnson stated:

Johnson played the character of Pike Trickfoot during Campaign One, a gnome cleric. For the second Campaign, which began in January 2018, she took up the role of aasimar barbarian Yasha. Johnson is not always present at the table due to filming Blindspot in New York City, while Critical Role is streamed from Los Angeles. When asked about how often she plays she said:

Critical Role has been met with massive success since it was first streamed in 2015.

Ashley Johnson is beloved by fans of Critical Role, even though she is not at the table as often as the other players. She recently became engaged to Brian W. Foster. Foster is the host of Talks Machina, the weekly talk show about each episode of Critical Role. He also recently became the host of a Critical Role spinoff called Between the Sheets, where he interviews the players on what got them into Dungeons and Dragons and into voice acting.
