In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, many quests have the player choosing certain options to what they think is best! It’s to allow you to become more immersed and make decisions based on what you would choose, or if you are fully immersing yourself as role-playing as Eivor, what they would choose.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Where the Stone Falls
Where the Stone Falls is a quest in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, where you have to choose between three different people to become the next ealdorman. However, ultimately the choice doesn’t actually matter; it just alters the quest a fraction.
Each person who can become the ealdorman has pros and cons, like every regular human being; however, one of these three holds a secret, which is detrimental information for Eivor. Before you pick, you’ll be able to walk around the room and confer with Odin over the details of each candidate. The three choices are between Bishop Herefrith, Aelfgar, and Hunwald.
To make this decision easy for you, Bishop Herefrith is a member of the Order of the Ancients, yes, the people you and the Hidden Ones are hunting. However, if you choose him, you won’t learn this little nugget of information until after you finished in Jorvik, but don’t worry, he doesn’t stay ealdorman for long… Though if you don’t choose him and pick one of the others, the Bishop shows his true colors and gets enranged.
He’ll instantly reveal his association with the Order of the Ancients and will trap you in a chamber with a bunch of his cronies trying to kill you. Dismember all of them, and you’ll see the candidate you have chosen in here with you. Now, it’s time for revenge and your job - get hunting!
The choice between Aelfgar and Hunwald doesn’t matter; pick whoever you think is the best person for the job!
Though hunting is never the same as riding on a wolf mount, if you have the Ultimate Edition of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, we would recommend changing to this majestic beast as soon as possible! If your focus is building up your settlement, the quickest way to get resources is from raiding! So get tattooed to look the part, then begin!
