Raven Software, the developer of Call of Duty: Warzone, has implemented a massive weapon balancing patch with the Season 3 update. Adjustments in this patch primarily focus on Sniper and Marksman Rifles, while Assault Rifles, Submachine Guns, Light Machine Guns, and Handguns have also seen significant changes. Several Sniper Rifles, such as the Kar98k and SP-R 208, now cannot one-shot kill enemies outside of their maximum damage ranges. Silver Rain Games is based in the UK and has already begun work on its first IP.
