Nintendo revealed earlier this year that the 3DS’ Animal Crossing: New Leaf would be getting amiibo support later this year, though we now know the official date when the update will go live. Interestingly enough, Nintendo will also be releasing a new physical version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf that adds “Welcome Amiibo” to the title, which comes with the amiibo support pre-installed....

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a social simulation game that allows players to live on an island with animal villagers. It also features co-op through local networks and online connection with Dodo Airlines, allowing you to play with others and visit islands. While you may opt to give someone a tour of your island, fish with them or trade resources, you can also play pranks on your visitors and villagers. An unsuspecting visitor can walk onto the trap and fall into it by digging a pitfall seed into a hole and covering it....

Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen has hinted at the fact that live services for Anthem could be deployed later after the launch of the upcoming, and much anticipated, BioWare third person action game. “We’re careful not to put too large of a forecast in there,” Jorgensen said at their quarterly financial briefing, “and clearly [Anthem] will impact this year as well as next year as we not only continue to sell more into the next year but as we start rolling out the live services associated with that game....

While the launch of Season 10: Emergence was one of the most stable launches in Apex Legends’ history, the same cannot be said for the first major event of the season.
